Going Maad

December Maad was a blast! It was a full house - in terms of both stalls and shoppers - and there was a strong festive buzz in the air. The best part was, we the Fluff designers got to do quite a fair bit of Christmas shopping ourselves, thanks to our neighbours Luvdolls65 who graciously helped us man the stall while we disappeared to satisfy the shopaholic in us. :P

Designers we heart:
- Amy Woo: A lovely animal lover who makes the prettiest ceramic pots, bowls, ringholders, mugs, wind chimes. And if you're really lucky, some of them come with her trademark bunnies perched on them. Really nice!
- Alice K: We met this gregarious lady at the Singapore River Bazaar and were thrilled to catch up with her at Maad. She's a wonderful designer and seamstress. Her current range of smocked baby doll tops in kimono fabric are simply hot! Just as girly are her clutch bags! We couldn't help getting a whole lot customised for our girlfriends as Christmas pressies. It's the perfect gift for a babe!
- Bridget Rose of Goblin Market: We almost overlooked her stall which was in the dark-dark area in front of the information counter. But thank God we caught a glimpse of this shiny blue pinafore hanging from the ceiling and moved in for a closer look. That particular piece didn't fit us but we ended up trying a whole lot of other stuff (tops, dresses, scarves) and totally busted our budget for the weekend. Bridget is such a talented designer and artist. What we love about her style is it's edgy yet feminine. Her clothes are funky yet very wearable and still somewhat girlish without being sweet. We soooooo heart Bridget! *swoooon*
- Knotty Bicsie: Betsy's bangle wristlets are simply adorable! We bought up the last ones she had on Saturday intending to give them away as gifts but couldn't resist keeping them for ourselves. Looking at her cool stuff makes us wanna take up knitting ourselves!
