The unbearable lightness of being

I went for a long overdue haircut today. Under a friend's recommendation, I went to a relatively new Korean salon at Pacific Plaza. The results weren't too bad, considering my hair was getting pretty frizzy. The stylist snipped 3 to 4 inches of my dry, wavy locks off and layered whatever was left.

I also had an infra-red hair treatment done. For that, I had to take off all the metal I was wearing on the top half of my body - including my diamond ring and Tag Heur! - and put them into a small glass container! I made sure that box didn't leave my sight, not even when I had my hair washed at the basins -craned my neck to make sure my assets were safe.

The result of the haircut and treatment is, my head feels so much lighter. It's been a long time since I could swing my head and feel my hair bounce.

Something else was light and bouncy today. My earrings. :) Autumn Snowflake, to be precise. It was my first time wearing this pair and I was surprised to realise how light it is. I had to touch my eyelobes several times today to check that my earrings were still there!
