Janice's Black Tie Do

A dear friend of ours desperately needed accessories to go with a full-length, V-neck black lace dress that she was wearing to her company's annual awards. Given less than a week to work on the jewellery designs, here's what we conjured up - a glammed-up string of pearls and a bracelet with a big dose of lace and lots of shine.

Just for Julia

A lovely girlfriend passed us two lovely brass camera charms and asked us to jazz it up for her. Here's what we did:

All things bride and beautiful

Remember Nikki who commissioned us to customise her wedding jewellery? Well this is her. She so kindly sent us photos of her pre-wedding shoot by Chris Ling. Doesn't she look simply stunning? The bride-to-be's gorgeous, the gown's gorgeous and of course, her earrings and necklace are gorgeous too - pretty without being overwhelming. It turns out this set of accessories was versatile enough to match both her gowns.

In Nikki's own words: "I just wanted to update you on the some comments that my makeup artist (MUA) gave about the jewellery that you made. My MUA is TG GOH. He mentioned that the silver set of earrings and necklace was very pretty and nicely done..:) He seemed impressed that I did not buy it from shops but that it was made by you...:)"

Have a great wedding bash, Nikki! And don't forget to tell all your friends you got your accessories from Fluff!

Just for Korice

This aquamarine-based wedding necklace and earrings set was designed for a dear friend, the vivacious Korice, who will be heading to Sydney and Melbourne for her pre-wedding photo shoot. We used loads of crystals, czech beads and green/turquoise-toned stones for this vibrant and cheery combination that only a bride with a sunshiney personality can carry off. Can't wait to see her photos! :)

Fluff elves hard at work

We were swamped with orders for customisations recently. Here're a sprinkling of what's been keeping us busy like bees.

Oopsies!

Gosh, it was only when a bride-to-be friend asked to see photos of wedding accessories we have customised that it dawned on me that we never uploaded Nikki's final necklace design, the one that goes with Blissfully Nikki earrings. Well, here goes! It's a classy Y-shaped necklace with a hyper generous dose of shine and bling. Perfect for a bride.
Nikki emailed about two weeks ago to say her photo shoot went well and this necklace ended up matching all her gowns. Yup, a very very versatile piece to own. :)

Mel's Keys

Here's a lovely pink-and-silver number that we customised for a sassy girl called Melissa who knew what she wanted when she came browsing at our stall at the Chijmes Carnival. She very decisively pointed to Ooh La La and Coral Treasure and told us she wanted a design that would fuse the two. Your wish is our command. We took silver filigree balls, two tones of pink Swarovski crystals, pink rose Quartz beads, faux pearls, and of course, silver vintage keys. And TAH-DAH...this beautiful pair of dangles was born.
The name's a no-brainer: Mel's Keys. :) Love it!

The Missing Link

Guess what? The lovely bride Nikki SMS'd me last Sunday to say that she wanted a customised necklace to match her Blissfully Nikki earrings. =) So I spent almost all my free time after work this week, plus my whole off day on Wednesday, matching crystals/pearls/charms with chains and experimenting with several combinations and patterns to design that perfect Y-necklace for Nikki. To add to the challenge, she asked for a detachable part so that the necklace can create two looks. Hmmm, that was a toughie but I think I've it figured out. ;) I've photos to show but I shall keep you in suspense because it may not be the final design. I need to make a trip down to the shops to look for the perfect clasp - the missing link, literally.

Pink fever

This is a long overdue post on Parts 2 and 3 of Nikki's customised wedding jewellery range which was completed the previous week. This beautiful pair of silver-pink earrings on the right -- made with sweet Japanese Tensha beads and glittery Swarovski crystals -- is Blushing Nikki, inspired by none other than Blushing Rose on our website (under the Glam & Gorgeous category).

The matching black quartz-pink Swarovski crystal choker is an elegant piece specially designed to match the lovely bride's evening gown which is a sexy black-lace-on-pink-satin number. We love a bride who dares to wear accessories stamped with her own style and character rather than simply stick with safe but staid diamond jewellery.

Blissfully busy

I was busy customising Nikki's wedding jewellery this week and I'm proud to unveil Part One of three creations. This winter wonderland bling-bling on the right is named Blissfully Nikki!

I simply love the glitter and glamour of this pair of cluster earrings that's dripping with all things lovely, from silver flower & leaf charms to Czech beads to transparent Quartz droplets to, of course, truckloads of Swarovski crystals.
I adore it so much, I feel like making something similar for myself! Yes, yes, don't I say that about almost every design I make. Well, I wouldn't create something I don't love, right? ;) Next up is a classy choker in pink and metallic Swarovski crystals plus black faceted Quartz. And then a glammed-up version of Blushing Rose in silver.

Hope everyone's having a great week and looking forward to a marvellous weekend. Let me leave you with some of our latest designs that we've yet to upload onto http://www.lovefluff.com

Versailles - A little something to reflect the opulence of the French palace.

My Fair Lady - A dainty number to bring out the little princess in you.

Serenity - A pretty swallow soars amid lovely hues of brown and greyish-blues (this photo doesn't quite do justice to the lovely colours of the crystals)

For purchase details, drop us a line at shop@lovefluff.com or watch out for us at the next Maad. While stocks last, of course. :)
